Symphony Sid had a very busy year in 2007 playing at various venues up and down South Wales. 2008 is looking to be even more so with the diary already getting full! So book early !!!!!!!!!
- The date for the Public gig in Llangwm is Friday 20th June. This one off gig is Sid’s only public event of the year. When the event was staged in Llangwm two years ago it was a huge success with large crowds from all over attending. Let’s hope for good weather and it should be a memorable night.
- The Bi-annual Sea Fairers event returns to the Cleddau this summer. Symphony Sid are playing a one off gig in the picturesque village of Llangwm, at Black Tar. This public event is one not to miss!
- Symphony Sid are looking to play some public gigs in Pembrokeshire as a result of the growing interest in the band. Nearly all Sid’s work is private events all over South Wales and only now are the West Wales public starting to realize what Sid are about and they’re hungry for a chance to catch us live.
- Symphony Sid once again have a ball at the Withybush Hospital Christmas Ball.
- Symphony Sid perform at Celtic Manor for the end of series party for the BBC’s “Coal House.”
- The band have been into Winderton Studio to record their demo c.d. The finishing touches are being done by Bruce as I write. Due out March 2007.
- The band are due to go back into the studio to record a new promo c.d. due out early 2007
- Withybush Hospital Christmas Ball was a wonderful way to round off a great year.
- At an undisclosed gig the band experiences its first ‘Tom Jones moment’ with ladies throwing certain items!!!
- August 2006 Symphony Sid play Pembrokeshire County Show with Radio Wales
- October 2005 Symphony Sid play live Radio Wales gig from the Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen, as guests on the Chris Needs Show.
- August 2005 Symphony Sid play Pembrokeshire County Show with Radio Wales
- October 2005 the band play Scolton Manor, Haverfordwest, as part of the 1940’s themed event organised by The Royal British Legion.
